Pickin' Party Pixtures - September 23rd, 2000

Richard Smith showin' us how to do it.
Charlie Berwinkle "takes one" on his gorgeous Super 400 while Richard naps.....  8^)  Greg Smith in the background is thinking to himself,  "It looks easy enuff...."
Pete "Mr. Smoooth" Cavano (Cleveland) enjoys a duet with Sir Richard.  (See the fear in Richards face.... 8^)
Dave Duncan (Wallingford, KY) showed Richard the way Chet does it.  Dave can hold his own, folks!
Oh, oh - we had Richard up against the ropes with this ol' geezer ripping off Avalon.  (Can't he afford socks!!)
Do you think we were enjoying his talent???  Do you think he was enjoying us enjoying him??
Mary Jo and Rob Towns -  "There's Something in A Name"
A Super Picker on a Super Chet...
This was actually the best part of the day - when Richard was packin' up to go home.  Well, at least he was tryin' to.  He played 45 minutes with 20 - 25 folks standing right up by the riser.

A huge thanks to Arnie Alpert and George Mayle for taking the pictures.
