"Back to Thumbpickin"

Robert Anderson & Bob Saxton

Bob Saxton is always the consummate crowd pleaser with his guitar mastery and humor.  Most performers take a few requests at the end of their concert - Bob starts off, "Well, whadda wanna hear?"
Although the attendance was low - those that weathered the $3 a gallon gas prices really enjoyed themselves.
Robert Anderson has become a very disciplined performer onstage.  And, it's obvious that he's been getting a lot of stage experience - he's an awesome Chet picker...  He wisely kept JD Norman close by to help provide rhythm on some of his tunes so that he could "turn loose" on some single line licks...
Then, Bob Saxton came back up to jam a couple with Robert.  Here I think Robert might be saying (or, thinking),  "Yer not gonna drown me out with that accelerator pedal - are ya, Bob?"  The boys laid out some pretty slick tunes for us - and, the crowd responded with a nice monetary tip...
Here's a close-up of JD Norman, Robert Anderson and Dale Crabtree.
