Start a Club of Your Own Start a club in your area! I can't count the number of times over the past 6 or 7 years I have received e-mail from folks complimenting us on what we have done here in Ohio with our Ohio Fingerstyle Guitar Club - wishing there was a guitar club somewhere close to where they live. Not being the most diplomatic person on this planet, I usually bark at them, "Don't whine about it - do what I did - start one!" (And, several have around the country - and, a couple in Canada..)It's a lot of work and humiliation at first, and it can cost you a little money upfront - but, it's well worth the effort when you finally get something started If you would like to start a club in your area, give me a shout and I'll give you some pointers as to what to do. Say Hello We would love to hear from other club organizers as to how they have their clubs set up, what works, and what doesn't... "If we don't promote and support thumb-picking and finger style guitar - it will surely die with us."
