style guitar pickers get asked a lot it how and/or where somebody can
learn how to play this alternating bass line type of guitar - like Chet
Atkins and Merle Travis did???
This "page" is not intended to be a complete
compilation of training publications and media - but, rather just
suggestions from our members as to what they recommend. Most of
the books, tabs, and videos that are available to help guitar players
learn this style are not intended for someone just learning how to play
the guitar. The ability to play most major and minor chords in
time without hesitation would be helpful in taking advantage of
these.
